Horiztonal Induction Scanner

by Pillar Induction

Induction Scanners are used for progressive heating and are built for either vertical or horizontal hardening. Whether you need to run one part for a lifetime, or run a lifetime of different parts, ABP's Scanners are the choice to make.
Capable of heating cylindrical parts from 17" to 132", up to a 19" diameter, these large Horizontal Scanners are fully integrated with induction power, quench systems, rotational drives, servo motions and system controls. While the part is rotating, the induction coil (with integral quench) will travel horizontally along the length of the shaft while induction heating, and simultaneously quenching the parts. The heat station is located behind the scanning envelope.
The control components are selected to ensure proven reliability. Menu driven, question and answer zone function inputs, and “teach” mode makes training and operation simple, yet sophisticated. A wide range of optional features and controls will make the ABP Vertical Scanner fit the exact specification of process engineers, without exceeding your financial specifications.
