Byproducts of its unique design are significantly longer life than conventionally designed cartridge heaters, more responsive heat, even temperature profile, expansion for use in oversized bores and contraction (when de-energized) for warranted removal from the bore, eliminating bore seizure.
Dalton Electric also manufactures Diff-Therm replacement vacuum diffusion pump heaters. The platen design with swaged-in tubular provides ease of assembly to the pump, more responsive heat transfer to the boiler plate and longer life. Diff-Therm heaters are provide to specification of most pump manufacturers and in a large variety of custom configurations.
